The first thing to note about New York City is that there are a ton of great restaurants to choose from. You could easily spend weeks here and never get bored with the food options! With that said, let’s dive into our list of the best places to eat in NYC.

Number one on our list is Del Frisco’s Grille. This restaurant is known for its modern American cuisine, and it definitely does not disappoint! The menu features something for everyone, and the dishes are all incredibly well-executed. The Grilled Ribeye Steak is definitely a standout dish, and the Chocolate Cake is also worth trying if you have a sweet tooth.

If you’re looking for amazing Italian food, then you need to visit Eataly NYC. This massive Italian market is home to a variety of different restaurants, all of which serve up delicious food. You can’t go wrong with any of the pasta dishes here, but the wood-fired pizzas are also amazing. Be sure to save room for dessert, as the gelato here is some of the best in town!

If Chinese food is more your thing, then you’ll want to check out Nom Wah Tea Parlor. This restaurant has been serving up traditional Cantonese cuisine since 1920, so they definitely know what they’re doing! The Dim Sum is mouth-wateringly good, and we also highly recommend trying the Egg Rolls.

For something a little bit different, head to Russ & Daughters Cafe. This cafe is known for its Jewish comfort food, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. The Matzo Ball Soup is particularly tasty, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Last but not least, no trip to New York City would be complete without a visit to Katz’s Delicatessen. This iconic deli has been serving up massive sandwiches since 1888, and it’s definitely worth a visit! The pastrami sandwich is their specialty, but the corned beef is also excellent. Just be sure to come here with a hearty appetite!
